Laura Pridemore, MD JD FAAP DipABLM redirected her pathways from an early career as an attorney, and completed her Doctorate in Medicine at Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon Georgia, and her General Pediatrics Residency at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte NC.  Honored as a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, since 2001 she has  been board certified in Pediatrics and has been in Pediatrics practice at Novant Health in North Carolina at locations in Charlotte or Monroe.  She is certified as a Lifestyle Medicine Diplomate by the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine.

Dr. Pridemore received a Certificate in Plant-based Nutrition from T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies and eCornell in 2012, and more recently a Health Coach Certificate from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition.  For many years, her passion has been studying plant-based nutrition thoroughly and sharing this knowledge with her patients, and she has undertaken Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Training.  The motto she conveys to her patients, in support of Lifestyle Medicine, is “Eat Move Rest Connect”:  eat mostly plants, move regularly, rest mind and body, and connect with people and nature over technology.
