Krystyna “Tina” Rastorguieva, MPH earned her Summa Cum Laude Master in Public Health degree at the Rollins School of Public Health, Emory University, Atlanta after completing a Summa Cum Laude Bachelor of Science in International Business at the College of Charleston in South Carolina.  She also has completed certifications in Plant Based Nutrition through T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies, as a Complete Health Improvement Program Facilitator and as a Diabetes Prevention Program Coach.  She received the 2019 Donald A. Pegg Student Leadership Award from American College of Lifestyle Medicine in honor of the establishment of the Emory Lifestyle Medicine Interest Group and her ongoing efforts to increase recognition of lifestyle medicine at the university and its affiliated healthcare institutions.

Tina currently serves as Director of the Emory Office of Well-Being (EmWELL), Emory University, after having worked in various other capacities at the university since 2016:  for Emory Shared Surgical Services as Project Management Consultant, then for Emory Employer Health Solutions as Outreach Liaison and finally as Program Manager.  During this time she was engaged in multiple innovative efforts, such as launching and producing The Whole Health Cure podcast for over 50,000 listeners, co-founding Emory Lifestyle Medicine and Wellness Center and helping develop and launch its services portfolio, and helping develop and implement the inaugural Emory Healthy Kitchen Collaborative and securing its seed grant.  She was the second author of two articles about the Kitchen Collaborative development, accepted for publication by peer-reviewed journals in 2021:  "Rationale and design of the Emory Healthy Kitchen Collaborative", International Journal of Disease Reversal and Prevention, and "Cost Analysis of Developing, Implementing, and Evaluating a Multi-Disciplinary Teaching Kitchen", American Journal of Lifestyle Medicine.

Tina seeks to base an exciting and meaningful career on the mission to create innovative programs and enhance systems that can save lives, prevent disease and improve well-being.  She said in 2019:  “I think a lot of what appeals to me about lifestyle medicine is the feeling of hope.  Seeing what a difference healthy nutrition and lifestyle choices can make really opened my eyes.  Eighty to ninety-five percent of all chronic diseases can be prevented, arrested, or — many times — reversed through lifestyle change, and truly knowing that gave me so much drive to do anything I can to help others find the same truth."
