Deborah Chielli, AGNP-C DipACLM completed Bachelor of Science and Master of Science honors degrees in Nursing at Wilkes University, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Dietetics at Penn State University.  She is a Board Certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner and Lifestyle Medicine Professional with extensive experience in clinical settings, with focus spanning gastroenterology, primary care, family practice, veterans' health, preventive care, and nutrition and lifestyle oriented patient education.  She is also a longtime Adjunct Faculty member in the Master of Science in Nursing Program at Wilkes University, covering Advanced Pathophysiology and Lifestyle Medicine, and was the Editorial Advisor, and the author or co-author of three textbook chapters, for the textbook"Lifestyle Nursing", published 2022.

Deborah's past clinical engagements included leading a Patient-Aligned Care Team of practitioners at a 925-patient Veterans Affairs Community-Based Outpatient Clinic in Watertown NY, after participating in a similar team at a 650-patient clinic in Jamestown NY, overall encompassing several years.  She had previously served in community-based primary care and hospital-based acute care environments, and recently she has added the education-sector roles of Director of Membership and Community Development for Rochester Lifestyle Medicine Institute, and Co-Chair of the RN/APRN Member Interest Group for American College of Lifestyle Medicine.  Her further professional development has included earning a Certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition from T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies, and a CHEF Culinary Coaching Certificate from Harvard Institute of Lifestyle Medicine.
