Continuing Education, May 2020

We are pleased to offer affordable opportunities for health professionals.   Following are the details of the continuing education credits for the full conference (to be pro-rated for partial attendance).

CNE:  18 Continuing Nursing Education contact hours

CNE:  This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the Virginia Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation, for 18 contact hours.

CPEU:   18 CPEUs (Dietetics)

CPEU:   18 CPEUs for participation in the full conference, approved by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.  These apply to Registered Dietitians and Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDs, RDNs), and Dietetic Technicians, Registered and Nutrition and Dietetics Technicians, Registered (DTRs, NDTRs).
 

The 2020 P-POD Conference program provides one hour of continuing education in Ethics as required during every five year recertification period by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.  This is part of our Sunday May 31, 2020 afternoon agenda program.  The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (Academy) and Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) are not responsible for the provider’s interpretation of the Academy/CDR Code of Ethics for the Nutrition and Dietetics Profession or its enforcement as it relates to the scenarios and content presented in this activity.

ABLM:  18 CME in Lifestyle Medicine

ABLM CME 18 Credits in Lifestyle Medicine:  The American Board of Lifestyle Medicine has approved each annual P-POD Conference as an in-person-learning CME provider.  The 18 CME credits for 2020 P-POD are applicable for candidates for the 2020 American Board of Lifestyle Medicine certifying examination (credentialing for Diplomate of the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine).
